Nimish Patel appointed Liquidator of Priority Palliative Care
In late June, Nimish Patel was appointed Liquidator of Hampshire based palliative care provider Priority Palliative Care ("PPC").
Established in 2006, PPC was set up as a nursing agency to provide special care services in the home for terminally ill cancer patients in the Hampshire area. The services provided by PPC include making the patients’ last days at home as comfortable as possible and included personal grooming, therapies and general day to day care. Engaging around 20 trained nurses, PPC was contracted by the Surrey and Hants NHS PCT (amongst others) and in 2008 won the People’s Experience Award for services to the community.
Since being appointed, Re10 has ensured that PPC continues to trade, whilst Nimish Patel is in the process of securing a purchaser for the business, to ensure the local community continues to benefit from the much needed services that PPC currently provides.
